UPDATE: Missing Okaloosa Co. Woman Found

UPDATE
An Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office deputy has located a missing, endangered Bluewater Bay resident who had wandered off from her Oaklake Lane home shortly after four p.m. this afternoon.

75-year old Gloria Kostiou was found near Choctawhatchee Bay a few minutes after 8 p.m. this evening and appears to be unharmed.

The Sheriff’s Office thanks those who assisted with the search.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing, endangered adult who was last seen shortly after 4 p.m. this afternoon by a family member at her home on Oaklake Lane in Bluewater Bay.

75-year old Gloria Kostiou is of Greek descent and speaks broken English.

She was last seen wearing a yellow T-shirt and dark, plum-colored pants. She may be barefoot or could be wearing white tennis shoes.

She has a gray ponytail and is about four-feet-ten inches tall and weighs approximately 135 pounds.

The Niceville Police Department is also assisting in the search.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to please contact the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office immediately at 850-651-7400.
