Okaloosa County Authorities Seeking Armed Robbery Suspect

Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers and the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office are seeking information on an armed robbery that occurred last night (December 11) at a convenience store in Fort Walton Beach.

Deputies responded to the Ritz Food Sore located at 659 N. Beal Parkway at approximately 11:00 p.m. The clerk stated that a black male entered the store and came to the counter where he pulled out a gun and placed the barrel of the gun on the counter.

The clerk handed the suspect money and he fled the store headed south on Beal Parkway. The black male suspect is described as approximately 6' tall, 160-170 pounds and was wearing a red sweater or sweatshirt and dark colored pants. The suspect was also wearing a multi-color toboggan with tassels and had his shirt pulled up over his mouth.
