Northwest Florida beaches international airport officials say the passenger numbers has been overwhelming.
Since the first of the year, more than 354 thousand people have either flown in or departed from the two year old airport outside Panama City Beach. Officials say these numbers are soaring and a big reason is a large influx of passengers coming from the wiregrass and southwest, Georgia.
