Nintendo Announces Fully 3D Pokémon Game for October

On January 8th, video gaming giant Nintendo announced a long-running and popular game franchise will return with a new, full-3D release for the Nintendo 3DS handheld in October.

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y will be released all across the world in the month of October for the Nintendo 3DS handheld video game system.

The game will feature a fully 3D world, new monsters, and new storyline.

The first Pokémon game was released in Japan in 1996 and hit the United States in 1998. It later exploded into a massively popular franchise with an anime that has aired over 700 episodes, a trading card game, and many video games throughout several generations of gaming, and even a Pokémon store for a time.
