New Brockton Sewage Loan and Grant
A long awaited federal grant will help New Brockton improve its 25-year-old sewage lagoon which is under a state consent order.

The town of New Brockton is getting more than 600-thousand dollars to upgrade its sewage lagoon.
The water and sewer department signed the paperwork to receive the federal grant today.
The money will be used to upgrade the 25-year-old sewage lagoon.
The facility is under a consent order from the state department of environmental management to improve the facility.
If the town doesn't comply, it faces fines.
