A long-time New Brockton councilman has resigned after moving outside his district. New Brockton Councilman Jeffrey White "resigns" from office after moving outside his district. But before leaving, Jeffrey White read a statement asking Mayor Lenwood Herron to also resign.
White said Herron has been convicted of animal cruelty and has cost the city tens-of-thousands in penalties for unpaid taxes.
Mayor Herron says he has no plans to leave office.
