CRENSHAW COUNTY -- Police confirm that 19-year-old Taylor Driggers allegedly shot and killed Troy University student Kristin Fuller, 18, at 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning. The shooting allegedly occured at a home off County Road 29 between Luverne and Troy.
Crenshaw County Sheriff Officers arrested Driggers, of Brantley, and charged him with manslaughter. They are also interviewing numerous people that they said attended the New Years party.
Driggers signed with Troy University to play football in Feb. 2013 but has not officially joined yet. University officials said he would not have started until spring or summer of 2014.
Crenshaw County Sheriff's Department and the Alabama Bureau of Investigation are working on the case.
