New Tropical Depression Forms in Pacific Ocean

A new Tropical Depression has formed in the Pacific Ocean, near Mexico.

As of 4am Central Time on Thursday Morning, Tropical Depression Twelve-E was about 150 miles to the southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico moving to the northwest at 6 miles per hour.

The National Hurricane Center says it could bring locally heavy rains to parts of the southwestern Mexico coast. It could also strengthen over the next couple of days.
