New Radio Voices Coming to Headland

Headland will soon hear new voices over the radio. Ram Education Radio, WRMZ 98.1 is coming to Headland and South Henry County.

It will be a non-profit education commercial free FM radio station. General manager Jeanne Sigler says it will feature oldies music, comedy skits and talk shows with local celebrities and students. They will also broadcast local football and basketball games.

"So exciting to actually flip the switch to actually see something that its almost lkke a mother going to give birth thats how we feel like its being birthed now it has been a long time coming ."

The studio is being named after Sigler's father, who introduced Sigler into radio.

They will be over air Friday, August 29th. They will be broadcasting the Headland football game.
