The Houston County Commission approved a plan today to reassign people.
Commissioners say some polling places are simply too busy during elections.
They're moving about 4,000 voters from the Westgate location to the First Assembly Family Life Center on Highway 84.
Those voting behind the northside post office will go the the Vaughn Blumberg Center.
"We think that reducing the size of the voting precint allowing them to hopefully expedite the voting process will be a benefit to the public, " says Houston County Probate Judge, Patrick Davenport.
Westgate is currently the largest voting precinct in Houston County.
