New Opp Police Chief

A familiar face has been named as Opp's new top cop following the retirement of long-time chief Nicky Carnley.
Assistant Chief Mike McDonald has been named to the post by recently-elected Mayor John Bartholomew.
Chief McDonald has been with the department for the past 25-years.
He started out as a patrolman and worked his way through the ranks.
