RECENTLY..., GENEVA MAYOR PHILIP CARTER LEARNED HIS CITY WILL RECEIVE THREE SEPARATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION GRANTS WHICH WILL PROVIDE NEARLY ONE MILLION DOLLARS WORTH OF NEW BRICK AND MORTAR.
THE CEMENT SIDWALK FIRST APPEARED ALONG GENEVA'S TOWN AVENUE DURING THE "ROARING 1920'S". TIME WAITS FOR NO ONE..., AND THE SIDEWALKS ARE CRACKED AND BUCKLING. THE STATE PLANS TO REPLACE THE WALKWAYS ALONG TOWN AVENUE AND MUCH OF COMMERCE STREET TO MAKE IT SAFER AND MORE BUSINESS FRIENDLY…
