The Enterprise City Council had a special session today to appoint a new school board member.
Jimmy Jones had to resign his position after being sworn in as the new district five Coffee County commissioner.
The council unanimously chose enterprise native and Retired Army Master Sergeant James W. Brown to fill the seat.
