National Night Out Neighborhood Watch Picnic

Neighborhood safety was the topic of conversation today at Solomon Park in Dothan.
The Garden District hosted a neighborhood watch picnic that included 19 other smaller community watch groups.
This event is part of National Night Out and gives all residents and neighbors a chance to get to know each other a little better.
Officials say the purpose of this day is to liven the community's spirits while keeping neighborhood safety on the minds of residents.
Other neighborhood watch festivities associated with National Night Out will be held on Tuesday beginning at 6 p.m.
