Forecasters say there's a good chance of rain across much of Georgia this Labor Day.

North Georgia has an 80 percent chance of thunderstorms on Monday, and rain chances extend all the way south to the coast and into southwest Georgia.

Most of the state has at least a 60 percent chance of rain. Highs will range from the upper 80s in the north to the low 90s near the Florida line.

Forecasters say the rain chances are linked to a system that's posing a risk of severe weather to the west in Alabama.
