My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Airs Season 3 Finale This Saturday

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

The third season of the latest animated series of “My Little Pony” will have its season finale Saturday, complete with a well-known host, on the Hub cable television network.

“My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic” is wrapping up its third season on the Hub on Saturday, February 16, 2013. The series, which debuted in 2010, was not only successful with young girls, but gained a massive following of adults, some of whom call themselves Bronies. Many adult fans credit the writing, characters, animation and music for reasons that they enjoy the show.

The third season, unlike the first two seasons, was only 13 episodes compared to 26. To mark the occasion, Miss America 2013 Mallory Hagan will be presenting the episode on the Hub Network. Hagan is an Alabama native, who attended Auburn University before moving north and becoming Miss New York and later, Miss America.

The season finale episode is written by M.A. Larson. Larson, who also worked on such series as “Symbiotic Titan” and “My Gym Partner’s A Monkey,” has written several episodes that fans of “Friendship is Magic” hold in high regard such as “Sonic Rainboom” and “Magic Duel.”

The season finale of “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic” will air on The Hub network at 9:30am central this upcoming Saturday morning.
