The Murphy Girls Basketball Team left no room for doubt on Wednesday. the Panthers jumped out to a 16-0 lead after one quarter and rolled to a 63-22 victory over Baldwin County at the South Regional Tournament.
With the win, Murphy advanced to face Blount in the 6A Regional Final on Friday. Baldwin County ends the year with a 14-10 record.
Murphy dominated all phases of the game, outrebounding the Tigers 48-28, and forcing 28 turnovers. Hope Moore led a balanced attack with 15 points, as four Panthers players scored in double figures.
Denosha Maye led Baldwin County with 10 points.
