The Fulton County police report released Thursday says a witness told investigators he heard approximately five gunshots during the Wednesday morning prayer service at World Changers Church International in metro Atlanta.

The witness said he ducked down until the shooting stopped and then saw the man charged in the attack, 51-year-old Floyd Palmer, walking calmly toward the exit.

The police report says officers recovered about a dozen shell casings for a .380-caliber handgun from the chapel.

The man leading the prayer service, 39-year-old Greg McDowell, was killed in the shooting.

Fulton County Police Cpl. Kay Lester could not say Thursday how many times he was shot.
