Multicounty Investigation Arrests

Following a one-year multicounty investigation of armed robberies and burglaries in Lafayette and Suwannee Counties, four North Florida residents were arrested on August 16, 2012. Those arrests were the result of cooperation between the Florida Department of Law Enforcement Tallahassee Regional Operations Center, Baker County Sheriff’s Office, Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office, Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office, and the Union County Sheriff’s Office.

Jose Antonio Torres, 23, of Worthington Springs, Josue Orellana, 27, of Worthington Springs, and Keith Allan Kazwell, 26, of Live Oak were each arrested and charged with one count each of attempted murder, home invasion robbery, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, burglary of a dwelling and grand theft.

Kristin Michele Noel, 29, of Worthington Springs was arrested and charged with one count each of aiding and abetting attempted murder, home invasion robbery, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, burglary of a dwelling and grand theft.

Torres, Orellana, and Noel were booked into the Union County Jail. Kazwell was booked into the Suwannee County Jail. The investigation continues.
