A mother and her 11-month-old drowned in the Chattahoochee River.
On Sunday, police say 30-year-old Chrystal Brown was holding her son when she went into the water attempting to save a 3-year-old.
All three ended up going under, but the 3-year-old managed to survive and was taken to a nearby hospital.
The family was fishing when the incident happened.
