More People to Travel for July 4th Holiday

The holidays are notorious for causing traffic jams.

And AAA predicts that five percent more people will be traveling this 4th of July versus last year.

About 35 million people plan to travel by car for Independence Day trips this year, probably congesting roads.

AAA says lower gas prices could be a driving factor.

But it could also have something to do with Independence Day falling on a Wednesday this year.

AAA says travelers will spend their money more responsibly on vacation this year, saving anywhere they can.
