Molding Issues Cause Washington County Courthouse to Relocate

By  |

The Washington County Courthouse is making a new move. The County Courthouse is facing a temporary closure and it's offices will be relocated.
The entire staff--around 20 workers will be moving to new locations around the county.

Most of the clerk workers will now be stationed at the courthouse annex which is right around the corner on South boulevard.
Because of heavy rains over the summer, leaks and flooding in the courthouse's basement
led to mold and mildew.

The county officials want to clean that up. The Washington County Courthouse will be closed
on Thursday and Friday. Their offices will re-open on Monday under regular service hours.
