Midland City Town Hall Raided by ABI

Dale County District Attorney Kirke Adams says Concerned citizens filed complaints. An initial investigation by ABI determined some records needed to be subpoenaed. Adams said those records will either prove or disprove the claims.

MIDLAND CITY, AL - The Alabama Bureau of Investigation raided the Midland City Town Hall Thursday.

Trooper Kevin Cook said the investigation has to do with city finances.

Mayor Virgil Skipper says agents took financial records from October 2013 to April 2014. Skipper said he doesn't know why the records were taken.

The investigation continues.
