Memorial Day Ceremony Set in Ozark

Chapter 94, Disabled American Veterans and Auxiliary in conjunction with the city of Ozark will host a Memorial Day Ceremony at Woodlawn Memory Gardens, 531 Hwy 231 in Ozark at 11 AM, 28 May.

The tribute includes a performance by the 98th Army Band, a fly-over, The Ft Rucker Honors Detachment, The Carroll High School Color Guard, representatives from area veteran’s organizations, command personnel from Ft Rucker, and local and state dignitaries.

Included in the Memorial Day program will be a salute to our Vietnam Veterans in recognition of the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War with a short parade of Vietnam Veterans led by the bagpipe of Major Michael Shannon, United States Army.

Vietnam Veterans are encouraged to come early and form the parade by 10:30 AM in front of the Woodlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery office. For directions or information, call 334-797-9052.
