Marriage Equality Day

gay marriages

Same-sex marriage activists are planning to head to Starbucks and other brick and mortar stores in droves Tuesday.

Equally Wed, an online lesbian and gay wedding magazine, dreamed up the idea to support businesses that are for marriage equality.
The magazine decided August seventh will be national marriage equality day.
So far, more than 32,000 people have signed up on the magazine's Facebook page to participate.
Starbucks is one of dozens of companies listed on equally wed's website as supporters of LGBT rights.
Others include Delta, Macy's, Southwest Airlines and Target.

What do you think? Are you participating in marriage equality day?
We'd love for you to join the conversation.
