Marianna Drug Arrests

On December 21, at approximately 7:57pm, officers with the Marianna Police Department conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle at the intersection of Jefferson Street and Jackson Street for inoperative tail lights.
The driver was identified as Quinton C. Jackson along with Tony Manning and a Juvenile as passengers.
The odor of burnt marijuana was obvious inside the vehicle, and a subsequent search of the vehicle led officers to locate a small amount of marijuana.
Manning, Jackson and the Juvenile was charged with possession of marijuana.
The Juvenile had a small plastic bag of marijuana hid inside their shirt awarding her additional charge of tampering with evidence.
Manning and Jackson were transported to the Jackson County Jail Facility where they will be held awaiting first appearance.
