Marianna Authorities Respond to Armed Robbery

On Tuesday May 20th, 2014 at approx. 5 a.m. the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from a residence on Old U.S. Road Marianna, Florida.

The juvenile caller advised she was awakened to find several doors to her residence standing open and was unsure if anyone had entered the home. Responding deputies arrived and found a 2004 grey Nissan truck parked in the driveway and was occupied. Four subjects were detained to include a fifteen year old juvenile. A fifth subject was located a short distance away and had walked away from the scene prior to deputies arrival. During a search of the vehicle, Deputies located a loaded .380 cal handgun concealed under the front passenger seat and some property that had been taken from the residence.

Upon entry into the residence, several items were taken to include a sword and numerous soft drinks. These items were recovered from the Nissan truck and collected as evidence. Arrested and transported to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office were Daquan Daren Walker, Henry Lee Ward Jr., Dylan Linton Standland, and Timothy Nelson Paramore. A female juvenile was also arrested at the scene and taken to the Sheriff’s Office. All subjects are from the Marianna area.

All subjects were interviewed at the Sheriff’s Office. During the interviews it was found that the suspects had gone to this residence believing that someone else lived there. When no one was supposedly found at home, entry was made into the house by Daquan Walker. Walker did open other doors as to allow the other suspects to enter.

The adult defendants were taken to the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await first appearance. The juvenile defendant was transported to the Department of Juvenile Justice Center in Panama City, Florida.

During the course of the investigation, it was found that entry was made into the home by way of the rear door.

Arrested were, Daquan Daren Walker, Henry Lee Ward Jr., Dylan Linton Standland, and Timothy Paramore
