Huntsville Police spokesman Harry Hobbs said the accident happened around 12:45 p.m. Saturday during the WAAY Christmas Parade.
Reports say the victim's name was not immediately released.
He was taken to Huntsville Hospital for treatment.
No other injuries were reported.
