Matthew Alexander Hall tried to rob Richard Harpe Jr. February 22nd.
Hall was armed with a shotgun when he confronted Harpe and demanded money.
Harpe ran from Hall instead.
Hall was convicted of attempted armed robbery with a firearm, being a felon in possession of a firearm and possessing a short barreled rifle, shotgun or machine gun.
He faces up to 60 years in prison, but a sentencing date was not set.
