A Dothan man convicted of fraud is trying to get his prison sentence delayed.
Edward Lincoln forehand was convicted of multiple counts of fraud involving cookware back in April.
Prosecutors say he promised big returns for bogus fundraising programs.
Now he wants a federal judge to let him remain free until March.
Forehand was supposed to being his 90-month-prison sentence in September, but a judge delayed the term until January.
He now says he needs more time to find his wife a new place to live.
