Four horses rescued near cottonwood are doing better.
The animals were skin and bone, and police were investigating what could have gone wrong.
Rescuers at the Seal Cares and Animal Rescue Organization are holding a fundraiser August 11th.
The fundraiser will be from one to five at 6346 Gene Terry road, in Cottonwood, Alabama.
Organizers say you can come out and feed the horses, play games and enjoy food and drink.
