DOTHAN, AL---Local community and business leaders spent the day behind bars for a good cause.

They participated in the Muscular Dystrophy Association's 'Lock Up.'

After police arrested them, they were taken to the Wiregrass Museum of Art.

There they had to make phone calls to raise enough money in donations for bail.

"We are arresting local business and community leaders you have been told that they have a big heart and they are raising their bail which has been set at 32-hundred dollars and that's going to send 4 kids to mda summer camp," said MDA Executive Director Angie Jordin.

The group expects to raise $60,000.
