OZARK -- City Officials, Economic Developers and a manager from Love's Travel Shops and Country Stores "broke ground" on Thursday afternoon for a new store along Highway 231 in Ozark.
Construction is set to begin on March 10th and the city hopes it will open before Sept. 1, 2014.
The store is expected to bring between 50 and 60 jobs to the community, each having both healthcare and retirement benefits. Ozark will also see additional tax revenue from the store.
With all of the trucking and traveling traffic, Love's Rural State Project Manager William Gleason said this will make Ozark a place to stop along the way.
"Ozark will have that little star on the map and people really like to see that, so we have a lot of destination shoppers," Gleason said.
