Police have found the body of a missing Okaloosa County woman.
The body of 36-year-old Jacquelyn Emerson was found in the water off Ward Cove just before 2 p.m. today.
Emerson’s husband reported her missing yesterday. At this time, investigators don’t suspect foul play. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of the death.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office wants to inform residents in the Bluewater Bay area near Niceville that both law enforcement officers and dozens of military volunteers are currently searching that area for missing endangered adult Jacquelyn Emerson.
The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a missing endangered adult.
36-year old Jacquelyn Anne Emerson of 4292 Skipjack Cove is missing from her Bluewater Bay area home and is believed to have left on foot, possibly wearing flip flops, a T-shirt, and shorts.
A family member last had contact with Jacquelyn around 12:30 Wednesday afternoon and says she was not home when he returned from work around 5 p.m. Her purse and phone however were still inside the residence.
Jacquelyn is about 5’2” tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds. She has hazel eyes and brown hair.
