Recent accusations of delayed care for some Veterans with potentially deadly consequences have put VA clinics in the limelight.

We spoke with local Veterans and they seem to agree, they've all had satisfying experiences with the VA clinic.

But they all recognize that something needs to be done system-wide, to ensure no more of their brothers have to suffer the ultimate consequence.

"I hate that the system is such that it allowed it to happen. My personal feeling is that i hope someone does something and someone pays for those people who did not get the services that they so richly deserved, " said Kenneth Robillard, Past Commander of VFW Post 6020.

Most of the Vets also agreed that if the VA clinics are having over crowding issues, there should be an agreement with outside medical facilities, so that Veterans can be seen in a timely manner.
