Local Reaction on Penn State Sanctions

People in the Wiregrass had plenty to say about the Penn State sanctions.
We wanted to find out what their opinions were on the matter so we took to the street to find out…

"If something was done wrong, you have to pay for what you do wrong. So I agree with it."

"Lots of people are hurt no matter what they do. To think that it's been hidden all these years too. They need to do what they can but it's hard not to penalize those that weren't involved too."

"I don't think everybody should have to pay for it because there's just so many people who were there giving it their all and it's just not right for them to have to be put into the mix with the evil that was done."

"Loyalty in a case like that was of course misplaced, but to take away his wins and his statue, that's wrong."

The sanctions were announced by NCAA President Mark Emmert at a televised news conference.
