It's all quiet now but in a few weeks the Boys and Girls Club will be full of kids all looking to enjoy their summer.
"We have a lot of fun here, we have a game room, a gym, outdoor activities, a playground," said Boys and Girls Club of the Wiregrass Director Phillip Gilley.
Registration is already underway for the Boys and Girls Club of the Wiregrass' summer program.
There are two sessions available from June to July and July to August. It's $250 a session and open to 1st through 8th graders.
"We do have a great staff and we will provide your child a positive safe place and a lot of fun and when they get home at night they'll be ready to go to bed," said Gilley.
Not only are the local boys and girls clubs offering summer programs, the city of Dothan also has a list you can choose from.
"We have the Playground Program which operates at 3 facilities here at Andrew Belle, wiregrass and Walton Park Recreation Center," said Andrew Belle Center Manager Stephanie Wingfield.
Registration for that program starts June 1st and costs 10 dollars for the first child and 5 for the second.
"They'll go swimming they'll go to Water World, they'll do archery, they'll go bowling and there's a trip to the movies."
The city also has Camp Choctaw. There are 4 sessions at $80 apiece.
Registration is May 7th and 8th at the Doug Tew Recreation Center.
The Boys and Girls Club of Hawk Houston is also registering kids for their summer program and Troy University-Dothan campus will hold registration this Saturday for their "Summer Spectacular" camp with the theme, "Kids as NASA Scientists."
You can also check with your local churches for affordable or free summer programs as well.
