LifeSouth Asking for Donations

Dothan, AL - LifeSouth's blood mobile was out at Golden Corral for a blood drive Saturday.

They hold blood drives seven days a week in the area.

This is so they can continue to have a good level of blood to supply hospitals with.

Right now they are at a good level, but need to continue to meet their goals of 16 units of blood every day.

"Our donations go to our local hospitals. They go immediately on their shelves. So if you donate here in the Wiregrass area your blood is staying here to these Wiregrass hospitals," said team captain, Melissa Lawrence.

If you are interested in donating, you can find out where the blood mobile will be every day at their website.
