Visitors of Landmark Park were in for a sweet treat Saturday.
The park celebrated national watermelon month with a watermelon tasting.
Melon's featured in today's testing were, moon and stars, black diamond, and Crimson Sweet Jubilee. Organizers were there to explain the uniqeness of each melon and how they're grown...
"The one they're getting today primarily is the Jubilee and it is real sweet. The watermelons that we're tasting today were donated by a farmer down in Ashford-Tony Taylor, we certainly appreciate it when he does that," says Tom Boyle.
Saturday's tasting was co-hosted by the Alabama Watermelon Association.
