If you are planning on traveling this Labor Day holiday you won’t be alone.
AAA predicts 34 million Americans will travel more then 50-miles to celebrate Labor Day this year. That is more than 4 percent over last year and the highest level since 2008.
AAA says an improving economy, increased spending and the recovering housing market contributed to the upswing.
Another factor may be the actual date of Labor Day, Sept. 2. AAA says Americans travel more when the holiday is earlier in the month.
