Krystal Moving Corporate HQ to Georgia

Fast-food chain Krystal is moving its corporate headquarters to Atlanta.

The new owners announced plans Wednesday to uproot from Chattanooga, Tennessee, where the restaurant chain was born more than 90 years ago.

An Atlanta investment group purchased the chain and its 300 restaurants earlier this year.

The company wants to open 150 new restaurants in the next five years and create thousands of new jobs.

To do that, Krystal's new owners said the company needs to be in a more central location with access to one of the country's largest airports.

The move will affect 60 jobs.

The company will start its transition to Atlanta in February.
