Soon folks in Kinston won't have to travel as far to go shopping.
A new 10-thousand square foot dollar general is under construction along Highway 52 in Kinston.
Currently, there are only two service stations open in the coffee county town.
The Dollar General will provide six-to-eight jobs and pump needed sales tax revenue into the local economy.
