It was a strange month of June this year.
It was one of the warmest and wettest on record. That is according to the National Climatic Data Center (NDCD).
The National Average precipitation total was 3.43 inches last month. The NCDC says that is the 13th wettest June on record in the U.S.
18 states from Georgia to Maine posted record precipitation totals. The NCDC also says it was the 15th warmest June on record.
