Judge Rules Gamble Does Not Represent Districts

Dothan, AL - A federal judge ruled Thursday that Dothan attorney Mike Gamble does not represent the Cooperative or Improvement District of Houston County.

These two boards were created to oversee bond money related to the creation of the former Country Crossing Development.

Now the boards do not have an attorney while being defendants in an active lawsuit.

Both were sued after voting to suspend fees collected at Center Stage to repay $29 million in bonds.

The bond plaintiff has stated it will dismiss the lawsuit if the boards vote to reinstate the fees.
