Inmates Are Released After Forging Judge's Signature

Prison officials thought they were following the letter of the law when they put one inmate on a bus, and allowed another to leave with family.

But it turns out the documents ordering the convicts release were faked.

It was a homemade "get-out-of-jail-free" card that sent two convicted killers on the loose.

Joseph Jenkins and Charles Walker were serving life sentences when prison officials released them.

The men were set free after the prison received these forged documents, bearing the signature of Circuit Court Judge, Belvin Perry.

The papers order the inmates' immediate release.
