I.C. Road May No Longer Be a County Road

The Houston County Commission voted to have a public hearing to discuss the county making I.C. Road in Rehobeth a private road.

County Commission Chairman says the county is not using the road so it is just easier to turn it over to residents who live on the road.

"It's a county road maintained by us and we will maintain the road over to the property owners....we have complete agreement with the property owners to vacate the road and they have no problem with it so so its just a win win for everybody," said Mark Culver, Houston County Commission chairman.

The public hearing will be held sometime in November.
