SPRINGFIELD IL: On Tuesday afternoon Michael Faye, 58, husband to former WTVY-TV News Director Katie McManus Faye, passed away suddenly.
Mr. Faye, an avid hunter was out scouting deer plots. He was found dead at the hunting land.
Katie writes on her Facebook, He was her best friend and was the love of her life.” Katie says while they were married for 24 years, they were best friends for many years more.
Katie Faye left WTVY in January 2012 to take the position of Executive News Director for WICS-WICD TV in Springfield, IL.
The WTVY-TV Staff extends our thoughts and prayers to Katie and the entire Faye family during this time of loss.
