The Houston County Commission is one step closer to hiring an EMA Director.
The commission has narrowed down the number of applicants from 19 to two and started the final interview process this morning.
The commission had an open meeting allowing all in attendance to ask the candidates questions.
According to Chairman Mark Culver, the commission is looking for someone with experience.
"Someone who has experience in the field, someone who understands, the two big things to me are working with Farley, that's a significant part of this jobs and second having experience working closely with volunteers," said Culver.
The commission hopes to come to a decision by next Monday.
