Houston County's annual Spirit of Service day is a little less than a month away.
Wednesday organizers and local service groups met to announce projects available to the public.
For example, Wiregrass Habitat for Humanity will be beautifying the diamond grove area.
"There's a common area with a playground and picnic tables and we just want to come out and plant some flowers and just beautify that for our neighbors," said Amy Schutz.
Spirit of Service day is Saturday, April 20th.
