Honda is recalling some 489,000 CRVs because of a fire risk.

The recall affects model years 2002 through 2006 in the U.S., Europe and Africa.

Officials say an electrical switch in the driver's side door could melt and cause a fire.

Honda, along with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced the recall. 268,000 of the affected SUVs are in the U.S.
